Donvale Renovation

My clients have a big family so the brief was to have a beautiful big dining room where they could entertain with family and friends. We decided to use the lounge room as the dining area and then this allowed a small area for a sitting room. These rooms were fully renovated so the carpet was removed and a timeless herringbone oak was installed. I chose a stunning horizontal pendant light for above the dining table and then the other lighting was changed to down lights. We painted the windows black for a more modern look and the walls in the dining room were painted a crisp white and the sitting room a navy blue. We added wainscoting panels for a feature and a geometric wallpaper pattern was installed within the trim. The table is 3000mm long so it allows lots of guests so the family can entertain. For a more casual look I chose bamboo roman blinds in a dark stain. To see the before photo of this room click here.
